A VC-ready website for a PhD-founded deep-tech startup

We designed and built a custom portfolio and investor-outreach website for QSense Tech, an agritech startup founded by PhD scholars working on crop protection and food security. The goal: turn a research-heavy idea into a site that feels as exciting to a venture capitalist as it genuinely is.

In short

A deep-tech startup with strong academic research but no digital presence needed a website to win over investors. We built a fully custom, animation-rich site end to end — concept to live deployment — at qsensetech.com, giving QSense Tech a credible, memorable presence that stands out from generic startup pages.

QSense Tech works on crop protection and food-security technology — the site had to make that vision tangible.

The challenge

The client had a strong, research-backed idea but no way to represent it to the outside world. For a startup seeking VC funding, first impressions are everything — a generic or poorly designed website would undermine even a great idea. We had to translate a complex, research-heavy concept into a site that was visually captivating, easy to grasp, and persuasive to investors who see hundreds of pitches.

What we built

A fully custom, production-deployed website, with design intent, layout, colour story, and interaction design driven by our own creative direction from the ground up.

  • A standout hero section with an exceptional custom animation that instantly communicates the startup's identity.
  • Rich, purposeful animations throughout that guide attention and make the experience feel polished and premium.
  • An original approach to information design — complex ideas laid out visually and intuitively rather than as dense text.
  • A distinctive, in-house layout style and colour story that give the brand a memorable identity.
  • Fully deployed and live at qsensetech.com.

Our approach

The site was built with a creative-first process where design thinking and execution happen together rather than in isolated phases. Every decision — layout, motion, palette — served one goal: make a PhD-backed idea feel as exciting as it really is. Rather than a template, we worked the way a brand studio would: starting from the idea itself and building a visual language around it, end to end.
